Ivonne Weichold

Dr. Ivonne Weichold works as a Research Scientist at the Luxembourg Centre for Socio-Environmental Systems (LCSES) at the University of Luxembourg. Her work focuses on the intersections of spatial planning, soil and agricultural systems, and sustainable territorial development. She is currently involved in the Living Atlas Luxembourg project, financed by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity (Luxembourg), which draws on environmental and socio-spatial data to support sustainability transitions. She is the author of Agroecologics: Towards a Territorial, Integrative Agri-Urban Design (2021) and has contributed to New Forms of Urban Agriculture (2021) and Urban Food Mapping (2024).
